Maruhon Ware Dutch Scene Condiment Pot

A lovely example of Japanese kitsch; pale and contrasting paintwork with a delightful scene of the dutch countryside. With a notch in the lid it is meant as a condiment pot but also highly decorative.

6.5cm diameter at base
8.5cm tall
Maker stamp on the underside.

Condition: The pot has plenty of age to it with wear to the paint work, there is also a small crack to the lids inside rim.
