George Jones Albino Majolica Ironstone Sardine Box

A stunning piece of English servingware. Known as albino majolica the details in the textures on each surface is particularly captivating. The final touches include gild work on the rims and a hand finished sardine on the top to act as a handle for the lid.

Condition: There is a small chip to the underside of the sardines fin, otherwise use related water marks across it. Gilt work is particularly nicely intact.
